Digging For Roots

Digging For Roots
innocuous blogging activity for some
          for others a solemn silence
is the only thing dug up

What makes me who I am
is steeped in untold (not hidden) realities
          which will never be publicised

Sharing part of me is a good thing
but the world is not full of good people

History can be a private matter
a quiet matter of intimacy, and trust
there is no need to dissect
          and inspect the fine detail
                      of my emotional journey

The choice is not yours
accept me as I am
          or keep walking on

  1. Great post. We all look for acceptance, but ones history shouldn’t be the basis upon which acceptance based. Only you can determine what you are comfortable sharing, the rest is no one elses business. Keep up the great writing my friend and Happy Holidays to you and yours. 🙂

    1. Thank you Dom for all your encouragement this year 🙂
